An important focus for future research should be to ex amine the effect of varying degrees and styles of planning participation and planning group size on transition outcomes. In addition, future work on increasing youth involvement in transition planning should examine the impact of new digital technologies in facilitating the transition ofyouth with ASD to adulthood. Several ofthe participants in this project success fully used electronic devices or digital media such as Skype or PowerPoint as tools to participate more actively in their plan ning meetings.
