First,
it is important to take the young adult’s diagnostic syndrome
into consideration when planning the transition from school
to young adulthood. Not all parents of such young adults have
the same concerns, desires and worries. If the transition plan is
to be truly individualised, the family perspective is critical.; Second, families of young adults with autism may have
more worries about aspects of life planning than other
families of young adults with disabilities, and thus may need
more support and services during this critical period of life

related, families have different expectations for their sons and
